Nanambara ny Filoha Marc Ravalomanana fa tsy nanao fangatahana hialokaloka

Le porte-parole de Son Excellence Marc Ravalomanana, Président de la
République de Madagascar, a démenti les nouvelles qui rapportent que le
Président a demandé l’asile en Afrique du Sud, comme l’ont rapporté
incorrectement les média à Madagascar et ailleurs. Le Président
Ravalomanana et son équipe ont travaillé avec de nombreux pays de la
communauté internationale pour ouvrir préparer son retour à Madagascar et
le retour à l’ordre constitutionnel.

Le Président Ravalomanana a encore condamné les violations des droits de
l’homme à Madagascar qui est devenu pratique courante sous le régime de
répression de la HAT. Arrestations politiquement motivées, censure comme
dans le cas de l’arrestation, à l’aube, d’un journaliste de Radio Mada,
violence contre des civils non armés, sont autant d’incidents cités par le
Président Ravalomanana qui font maintenant partie du quotidien à
Madagascar.

Le Président Ravalomanana a désapprouvé les tentatives de ceux qui visent
à tromper le peuple malgache en déformant ses intentions. Le Président a
exprimé son soutien indéfectible au peuple malgache. Il a noté que cette
crise était une lutte pour leurs droits en tant que citoyens et qu’il est
prêt à mener cette lutte pour le peuple malgache.

Le Président Ravalomanana soutient l’appel du Groupe du Contact
International récemment formé pour recommander à d’autres pays de
n’exercer aucune influence indue contre la situation à Madagascar. Il a
exprimé son inquiétude à propos de nouvelles récentes qui rapportent que
certains pays se préparaient à signer des contrats avec le régime illégal
de la HAT. Le Président a noté que ces contrats n’étaient pas dans le
meilleur intérêt du peuple malgache. Il a encouragé ces pays à prendre
note de l’illégalité du régime de la HAT. Le Président a dit que ces
contrats seraient déclarés nuls et non avenus une quand l’ordre
constitutionnel est rétabli, et que la communauté internationale soutient
cette mesure.

The spokesperson for His Excellency, Marc Ravalomanana, President of the
Republic of Madagascar, denied reports that the President is applying for
asylum in South Africa, as has been incorrectly reported in Madagascar and
elsewhere. President Ravalomanana and his team have been working with
many countries from the international community to pave the way for a
return to Madagascar and a return to constitutional normalcy in the
country.

President Ravalomanana again condemned the violations of human rights in
Madagascar that have become commonplace under the repression of the HAT.
Politically-motivated arrests, censorship as in the case of this morning’s
arrest of a journalist from Radio Mada, and violence against unarmed
civilians, are all incidents cited by the President which are now seen
daily in Madagascar.

The President disapproved of the attempts to mislead the Malagasy people
of his intentions. The President expressed his utmost support for the
Malagasy people. He noted that this crisis was a fight for their rights
as citizens and that he was prepared to lead that fight for the Malagasy
people.

President Ravalomanana joined the call of the newly formed International
Contact Group to caution other countries against exerting undue influence
against the situation in Madagascar. He expressed concern over recent
reports that certain countries were preparing to sign contracts with the
illegal HAT regime. The President noted that these contracts were not in
the best interest of the Malagasy people. He encouraged those countries
to take further note of the illegality of the HAT regime. The President
said that any contracts signed with the illegal HAT would be declared null
and void once constitutional order is restored, and that the international
community backs such treatment.
